Bulk Flow Metre:
Device used to measure the movement of liquid in a pipe. Water is flowing through feeder lines of varying diameters; bulk flow meter provides the quantity of water flowing through feeder mains in water distribution network.

Under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) BWSSB has installed 218 ultrasonic bulk flow meters for its water transmission and distribution feeder network throughout Bangalore city. Ultrasonic bulk flow meters are commissioned on water feeder mains of 300mm to 1950mm diameter.
